There are numerous examples proving that boycotts, blackouts, and other forms of protest can be effective.

However, this list is different.

It highlights organizations and corporations that are standing strong against the current administration's dictates. These entities are our allies and positively deserve our support.

As we witness universities, law firms, judges, nonprofits, and favorite retailers/companies yielding to the administration’s pressure, we need to uplift and support those who resist deplorable policies and, call it what it is, extortion. Encouraging those who reject the ultimatums of a bully is in everyone's best interest.

Once meeting a bully's demands, the criminal becomes emboldened to seek an ever-larger audience for their crimes. Capitulation does not provide immunity from further challenges as this is the very nature of extortion.

Extortion only works because of the fear injected: the loss of revenue, the loss of clients, the loss of security clearances, the intimidation on social media, and the promise of the cataclysmic collapse of a business are strong motivators to acquiesce. Let’s show these companies that what they fear is less severe than they might imagine.
